FAIRFIELD, Ala. (WBRC) – The case against a woman charged in connection with a crowd disturbance outside Fairfield High School last year has been dismissed.
Morgan Carwell was charged after police said she “unlawfully and intentionally” incited agitation among a crowd of bystanders outside the school on June 8, 2025. Court documents at the time alleged Carwell made inflammatory and derogatory remarks that stirred up a crowd that was lingering in the area and refusing to leave. Fairfield High School said at the time that the police presence was not connected to any school-sponsored event.
