The 2026 Boston Pizza Festival filled City Hall Plaza with the aroma of wood fired pizza ovens Sept. 19-20. Music rang out from the DJ booth, creating an environment full of anticipation and excitement as vendors prepared for an influx of people from all over uniting over one thing: pizza.
Since 2017, the Boston Pizza Festival has taken over City Hall for two days full of pizza and fun. Vendors from all over come to share their Italian creations with attendees. The 2026 Boston Pizza Festival brought together over 20 pizzerias alongside other vendors with a mix between first timers and returnees. This event featured lawn games, activities like a pizza eating competition and much more. Typically taking place in the spring or early summer, this year the festival was pushed to the fall due to the FIFA takeover this summer.
