After a two-day-long trial, Darrell Long was found guilty of attempted homicide and other charges after he broke into his ex-wife’s home and shot her multiple times in March 2025.
The jury took more than an hour on Tuesday, Sept. 22, to find Long guilty of criminal attempt of homicide in the first degree, aggravated assault with attempt to cause serious injury, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, burglary and harassment.
