A 20-year-old man died after going underwater while swimming across a cove at Allatoona Lake on Sept. 20, according to Georgia Game Wardens.
Game Wardens and Bartow County Fire and Rescue responded to the Websters Day Use Area after witnesses reported the man began struggling while swimming and went underwater before reaching the opposite shoreline.
