William Steven “Steve” Richards, age 60, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (September 21, 2026) at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY surrounded by his friends and family. He was born on November 14, 1965, in Louisville, KY, the son of the late Charles Edward Sr. and Doris Jean Still Richards.
He was a son, a brother, a husband, a dad, a friend and a papaw. However, that doesn’t even scratch the surface of everything that made up “Steve.” He was a pilgrim attaining the highest degree in moose fraternity, a member of the Grayson County Moose 2453, West KY Moose Legion 56. Paducah Moose lodge, American Legion Post 81, and Bullitt County Rod &; Gun Club.
