(FOX40.COM) — Officers with the Sacramento Police Department arrested a woman on Tuesday night following an hours long stand off, officials said.
Around 6:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a woman allegedly swinging a knife at someone near the 20 block of Howe Avenue. The suspect barricaded herself inside her home home and a standoff ensued, Sacramento police said.
Prior to the standoff, the woman allegedly punched a 15-year-old teenager and their mother also sustained minor injuries from the suspect, Sacramento police said. Both were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment…
