As a young girl, Amber Weise watched with wonder as her older sister edited videos on the computer. She loved how, with minimal physical effort, scenes could transform with a few key strokes.
That fascination morphed into her own passion for video editing. There, Weise is chief commander of her images, which provide a special kind of solace.
“I feel very in control of (video editing), and since I need so much assistance in life in general, I don’t know, that sense of control over something is really freeing,” said Weise, now 27 years old. “When the project is completed, I can say, ‘Wow, I did that. And nobody helped me.’”…
