NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — New Orleans will celebrate Oktoberfest for six days across three weekends in October.
According to Deutsches Haus NOLA, Oktoberfest will feature beer, food and live music on the banks of Bayou St. John. Beers on offer include Berliner Weisse, Warsteiner, Paulaner, Späten, Franziskaner, Hacker-Pschorr and Köstritzer Bitburger. They will also serve traditional German dishes and street foods, such as Schnitzel, Bratwurst, Knackwurst, Weiss Wurst, sauerkraut, rot kohl, goulash, Flammkuchen (German pizza), warm Bavarian pretzels and doner kebabs.

The festival will feature performances from The Brats, Klaberheads and Wurst Case. In addition, the 610 Stompers will perform.
The festival will be open Oct. 9-10, Oct. 16-17 and Oct. 23-24. Fridays it will open from 4:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 1:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $10, children 12 and under are free. It will be located at Deutsches Haus NOLA on 1700 Moss St…
