A heads-up for some Rockford motorists this week, with repairs and road work planned at two busy intersections causing possible traffic delays.
Road Work Will Impact Rockford Drivers
The City of Rockford has two separate road closures planned this week to make repairs to stormwater infrastructure, so there could be delays on your commute.
The first closure begins Wednesday, September 23, at Parkview Avenue and Pelham Road. Crews will begin working in the northbound lane of Parkview to Pelham to repair a storm inlet on the southbound corner of the intersection.
Use caution when traveling through the area, and make sure to slow down for workers.
