A Colombian national who was in the United States illegally pleaded guilty Tuesday to assaulting a federal immigration officer on Interstate 64 in St. Louis.
Jhon Fredy Blanco Rodriguez, 22, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in St. Louis to one count of assaulting a federal agent.
Blanco Rodriguez admitted that federal agents saw him leave a residence on the morning of April 8 and enter a vehicle registered to an individual known to be in the United States illegally.
