ST. LOUIS — Police officers, firefighters and paramedics from across the St. Louis region are preparing to trade their uniforms for boxing gloves for one of the area’s biggest annual fundraisers.
The 39th annual Budweiser Guns ‘N Hoses takes place Wednesday, Nov. 25, at Enterprise Center, bringing local police officers and firefighters into the ring to raise money for The BackStoppers.
The first responders who compete aren’t professional boxers. They volunteer their time and spend months training for the event, all to support the families of police officers, firefighters and other first responders who die in the line of duty…
