Like pollen to honeybees, the forestland stretching between Highway 16 and the Cushman Trail in northwestern Gig Harbor continues to attract developers.
Burnham Ridge is the latest subdivision proposed there. The project would create 42 new single-family building lots on six parcels totaling 15.25 acres, just south of the existing North Creek neighborhood. The site borders the freeway to the west, while its easternmost edge runs along the Cushman Trail.
Burnham Ridge is still at an early stage. Its developers met with city officials last week to discuss their plans and gather information that will help in future permit filings.
