Many people have countless electronics they no longer use cluttering their homes and workspaces, but increasingly it is hard–and sometimes costly–to dispose of them. That’s why some communities periodically sponsor free electronics recycling events for their residents.
The borough of Fountain Hill is holding one such event for its residents this Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Upper Dodson Street Ballfield parking lot, 839 Dodson St., Fountain Hill.
Residents can bring up to five items for free disposal to the event. According to a flyer circulated by the borough, “anything with a plug” will be accepted. Items containing freon will not be accepted, and proof of residency is required…
