BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Bakersfield Search and Rescue Team is seeking meal donations for their volunteer members as they patrol the Kern County Fair parking lots every night.
“Our team consists of 13 dedicated volunteer members who typically arrive for their 6-hour shifts right after finishing their full-time day jobs,” said in a social media post. “As you can imagine, stopping to grab food or preparing meals ahead of time can be difficult.”
