CHARLESTON, S.C. — CARTA is moving forward with a new camera system designed to give bus drivers a better view of what is happening around their vehicles.
The Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority’s board approved moving ahead with video mirror technology, which uses cameras mounted on the outside of buses and displays the footage on screens inside the driver’s area.
