PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – Pickens County Sheriff Tommy Blankenship announced on Wednesday he has fired two deputies who were arrested out of state.
In a video shared on Facebook, Blankenship said the deputies were arrested on charges of public intoxication. As soon as the arrests were brought to his attention, Blankenship said the deputies were placed on administrative leave until an internal investigation could be conducted.
