BERRIEN COUNTY, MI –– A Southwest Michigan sweet shop building will go to a sheriff’s sale auction on Thursday, Sept. 24, as the city moves to foreclose on the building over an unpaid debt.
Cafe Italiano Sweet Shop, 205 E. Front St., has served the Buchanan community since 1947, offering ice cream, candy, vintage soda, pizza and subs.
