The Crumbl Cookie shop that had operated at 8240 Delta Shores Circle in Sacramento since 2021 has closed, disappearing from the shopping center’s store directory alongside neighbors See’s Candies and T-Mobile. The closure removes a fixture of the South Sacramento retail hub known for weekly rotating flavors like pink sugar cookie cakes, Dubai-style chocolate cookie brownies, strawberry Biscoff cookies, and Oreo birthday cake cookies.
According to the Sacramento Bee, Crumbl still operates 10 locations across the Sacramento area outside Delta Shores, including in Elk Grove, Roseville, Folsom, Citrus Heights, Rancho Cordova, West Sacramento, Natomas, Arden Arcade, and Woodland. The chain, founded in Logan, Utah, in 2017, has grown to more than 1,000 stores nationwide, but the Delta Shores exit comes as Crumbl grapples with slowing unit-level performance across its system.
A National Pullback Behind the Local Closure
The shutdown fits into a broader pattern of consolidation playing out across Crumbl’s franchise network. Per Crumbl’s 2026 Franchise Disclosure Document, as reviewed by Franchise Signal, reported revenue metrics declined year-over-year from fiscal 2024 to fiscal 2025. The franchisor also removed prior-year profit data from its 2026 filings, according to the same review.
