ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis man appeared in federal court Wednesday and admitted trying to purchase a full truck of mail from a postal worker.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Missouri said Ty-Hunter Collins, 28, approached a uniformed mail carrier in the JCPenney store at the West County Center on Dec. 15, 2025.
Collins approached the mail carrier as she was walking back to her truck and offered to buy the mail in her truck for $20,000. He showed her a picture of cash on his phone.
