GARDINER, Ore. — The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Tactical Response Team served a warrant at a residence in Gardiner on Monday, resulting in the arrest of a man wanted in connection to a hit and run in Eugene, which left a pedestrian seriously injured.
On Monday, September 21, 2026, detectives with the Eugene Police department obtained a search warrant for the arrest of 47-year-old Dallas Lee Silva of Eugene. Silva is a suspect in a hit and run incident that took place on July 4, 2026, on River Road near Beacon Drive.
