WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) – The superintendent of Woodford County Schools is asking drivers to slow down after a Versailles police officer was sent to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle while directing traffic at a district elementary school.
The officer was struck on Tuesday afternoon on Troy Pike near Southside Elementary School and is expected to make a full recovery.
