Earlier this year, Sacramento’s beloved local vegetarian and vegan restaurant, Mother, closed its doors.
The loss “left a significant gap in the local veg-friendly dining scene,” wrote The Sacramento Bee’s food reporter Sean Timberlake at the time of the closure.
