Elizabeth Holmes will move to Texas halfway house in 2027, per reports

Elizabeth Holmes, the convicted founder of Theranos, will leave a minimum security prison in Bryan and move into an halfway house outside Austin next year as she continues serving a more than 10-year prison sentence, according to an ABC News report.

Holmes has been imprisoned in Bryan since 2023after she was convicted of defrauding investors who bought into Theranos’ blood testing technology. She is scheduled to move into the Austin Transitional Center in Del Valle on Aug. 23, 2027, according to the report, which cites the Department of Justice’s Victim Notification System.
