DALLAS, TX — A 61-year-old Arkansas man with autism who had been missing for nearly two weeks was found safe Wednesday night at a Dallas train station, Dallas police said. Family members said Daryl “Petie” Foreman was discovered on a bench near the UT Southwestern area after officers noticed him during a security check and ran his name.
The name check returned a missing-person alert, according to his sister, Sonia Foreman. Dallas police missing persons investigators were then notified, along with UT Southwestern Police, and Foreman was reunited with his family at UT Southwestern.

Police said the breakthrough came while officers were making a routine security check at the train station. They saw Foreman sitting on a bench and confirmed his identity by entering his name into a system that flagged him as missing.
