ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A former Ferguson police officer on a long road to recovery received another show of community support Wednesday.
Former officer T.J. Brown attended a fundraiser held in his honor at Elicious restaurant on Florissant Road. Brown suffered a severe brain injury while working during a protest in August 2024.
He underwent extensive treatment at specialized rehabilitation facilities in Atlanta and Omaha, Nebraska, before returning to the St. Louis area earlier this year to continue his therapy…
