EUGENE, Ore. — The Eugene BRiGHT Parade returns Saturday, Sept. 26, and the city is reminding Eugene residents to be aware of closures during the evening procession, which expected to draw large crowds.
The parade is scheduled for 7:30-8:30 p.m. and will bring a series of street closures in the downtown core, including Pearl Street, Eighth Avenue, Charnelton Street and 11th Avenue.
The first closure begins at 5:30 p.m., when the corner of Pearl Street and Eighth Avenue will shut down for parade staging. The rest of the parade route will have rolling closures between 6:45 and 7:30 p.m. as final safety barricades are placed…
