A suspect who stole over $1,600 worth from Macy’s in Peabody drove into two officers while fleeing, dragging one of them on Monday.
According to Peabody police, officers were attempting to detain two shoplifting suspects at Northshore Mall when one of them fled to a parking lot, got into a vehicle and struck two officers, dragging one of them.
The suspect who struck the officers was identified as Romello McCain, 20. He was arrested on Thursday. He faces five charges including, assault and battery on a police officer…
