Two Jacksonville residents were arrested on multiple felony charges on Sept. 21 after allegedly trying to steal thousands of dollars in sports trading cards from a Palm Coast Target where Flagler County deputies were already on site working another case.
A deputy was inside the store investigating an unrelated bicycle theft when a loss prevention employee alerted him that a man known for shoplifting at other Target stores had just walked in. According to store staff, the suspect’s regular pattern involved grabbing a plastic storage bin, stuffing it with trading cards, and slipping out through a side fire door with a woman waiting in a black sedan.
Security footage and staff watched the man step out of a dark sedan, take a shopping cart, and pick up a plastic container from the home goods aisle. He then walked to the back wall where trading cards are displayed, loaded several boxes into the bin, snapped the lid shut, and headed out of the building…
