MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – A man is in custody after a Wednesday night high-speed chase in Montgomery ended with a crash, according to court documents.
Tobias Youngblood, 28, was arrested on Sept. 23 after agents with the Metro Area Crime Suppression Unit attempted a traffic stop near Eastern Boulevard and Carmichael Road. Investigators said agents noticed a 2018 Jeep Trackhawk with a shattered window and the driver was not wearing a seat belt.
When agents signaled for him to stop, Youngblood kept driving, and reached speeds up to 100 mph in a 35 mph zone while running stop signs and multiple red lights, court documents state.
The pursuit ended when the Jeep ran a red light near Carmichael Road and Eastern Boulevard and collided with another car. The Jeep rolled to a stop, and Youngblood was taken into custody…
