A 78-year-old man suffered serious head trauma during a beating Wednesday morning, police said.
Crews were called to the Relax Inn at 5600 Telegraph Rd. at 7:15 a.m. on a report of an assault. They found the victim with multiple facial fractures, lacerations, and an injury to his right eye, according to court records.
