Amarillo woman accused of trying to pull cords from victim’s heart monitor with bare hands

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – A woman is accused of trying pull the cords from a man’s heart monitor.

A Potter County grand jury decided there is enough evidence to formally charge Deanna Michelle Andersen with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The indictment, handed down today, reads that Andersen knowingly and intentionally threatened the victim with “imminent bodily injury or death by attempting to pull the cords from his L-Vad heart monitor.”…
