There was a large police presence at Ford Heights Municipal Hall Thursday as the Cook Cook County Sheriff’s Office and Illinois Attorney General carried out an investigation.
Officers in plain clothes, as well as officers in jackets and vests labeled “police” and some bearing the label of the Cook County Sheriff’s Office were seen outside the Ford Heights Municipal Hall starting in the late morning.
The Attorney General’s Office confirmed it executed a search warrant at the municipal hall as part of an ongoing investigation, but did not elaborate on what the investigation entailed. The statement said they do not comment on pending investigations…
