More monsoonal moisture is moving into the Borderland tonight, bringing another round of showers and thunderstorms and keeping the threat for flooding elevated across the region.
Storms are expected to begin developing over the Sacramento Mountains during the early afternoon before additional activity moves in from the southwest out of Chihuahua during the early evening hours.
A Flood Watch remains in effect through late tonight for portions of the region. With soils already saturated from recent rainfall, it may not take much additional rain to cause problems. Some locations could receive up to another inch of rainfall, with locally higher amounts possible under stronger thunderstorms…
