Two men were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after a shooting in North Portland early Wednesday morning, and police have not located any suspects. Officers responded to N. Wall and N. Lombard just after 2:30 a.m., where they found the two victims before they were taken to the hospital.
According to FM News 101 KXL, a shooting investigation is underway in North Portland after the two men were hurt. Portland police closed N. Lombard during the investigation, and as of the station’s report, no suspects had been found at the scene.
The closure of N. Lombard came as officers worked the scene near N. Wall, a stretch of North Portland that has seen gun violence before. It is not known whether Wednesday’s shooting is connected to any other recent incident in the area.
