Newly obtained surveillance video shows the terrifying moments a maintenance worker allegedly opened fire on his co-workers inside a South Los Angeles assisted living facility, leaving three people hospitalized.
The Sept. 21 violence broke out just before 11 a.m. at Progressive Home for the Elderly in the 7000 block of Denver Avenue, a community fixture associated with the century-old Progressive Community Missionary Baptist Church.
Authorities identified the suspected gunman as 60-year-old Darryl Arnette Barnes, a maintenance man at the facility who investigators say opened fire on his boss and other administrative employees inside the facility’s main office.
