LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — “Wizard of Oz” showings at Sphere in Las Vegas have officially surpassed more than half a billion in ticket sales, with more than 4 million tickets sold since the show’s debut.
The milestone comes as the venue debuts updated and expanded “4D effects” for the show, including animatronic Winged Monkeys, themed scents, scented apples, pyrotechnic fireworks, and “Glinda Glitter.”

The new effects are set to debut today, Sept. 25, after they were initially announced in late August.
