Gresham, Oregon, got a tasty wake-up call this week.
Raising Cane’s, the national chicken finger chain, opened its second Oregon restaurant in Gresham on Tuesday, Sept. 22, The Oregonian/OregonLive reported. The early morning grand opening came with plenty of fanfare, and 20 lucky guests walked away with free Cane’s meals for a year.
How did fans win free Raising Cane’s for a year?
The 20 winners were chosen through the chain’s Lucky 20 drawing, which is a tradition at Raising Cane‘s grand openings. At least four of the winners were Gresham High School cheerleaders, who brought extra energy to the parking lot celebration.
Other perks were handed out too. The first 100 box combos bought inside the restaurant came with a card for a free box combo, and the first customer in line received a special gift basket…
