Albany, NY (WRGB) — An 18-year-old Albany man is facing a felony weapons charge after police say he ran from officers and tossed a loaded handgun during a foot chase on North Manning Boulevard.
Officers responded Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, at about 6:10 p.m. to the area of North Manning Boulevard near Third Street after receiving reports of a male with a gun. Police broadcast a description of the suspect over the radio, and officers in the area soon spotted someone matching that description and tried to stop him.
