AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – In the aftermath of two Columbia County traffic deaths involving electric two-wheeled vehicles, we’re looking at the rising number of injuries on electric mopeds, scooters, dirt bikes and motorcycles.
Kenneth Faile-Hood, an eighth-grader at Harlem Middle School, died a little over a week ago in an electric dirt-bike crash on Appling Harlem Road. He hit a tree limb on the shoulder and was thrown from the vehicle, according to authorities.
And 64-year-old Sam Dees died from injuries he suffered earlier this week in an e-bike accident at Washington Road and Hightower Drive in Martinez…
