CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Board of Education Vice Chair Elizabeth Monterrey Duvall will be stepping down from the leadership position after reportedly receiving multiple threats, including death threats.
Duvall was named vice chair on Tuesday night, when the board also voted 5-4 to terminate Superintendent Dr. Crystal Hill.
