After 17 years, Capt. Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger III, who saved 155 people in what quickly became known as a “miracle” emergency landing on the Hudson River, was inducted this week into the National Aviation Hall of Fame.
Sullenberger, 75, was honored at an event in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, Sept. 24.
