PLANT CITY, Fla. – A 19-year-old from Plant City faces multiple charges after pointing a toy gun at a teenager walking along East U.S. Highway 92 earlier this week, according to authorities.
Investigators say the incident happened around 3:59 p.m. on September 22, 2026. A 14-year-old was walking on the sidewalk along the north side of the highway when a vehicle passed by. Jordyn Mirelez, 19, of Plant City, was riding in the front passenger seat. Mirelez leaned his upper body out of the window, pointed what looked like a black firearm at the teen, shouted “Freeze!” and the vehicle drove away.
