MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The sentencing date has been pushed back for a former jailer convicted in the beating death of an inmate at the Shelby County Jail.
Courtney Parham was set to be sentenced Friday after a jury convicted him of criminally negligent homicide and reckless endangerment. That sentencing has now been reset to October 30.
