Two men are in the custody of the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office, charged with one theft and a subsequent robbery of Loves Truck Stops.
Alton Surles, 52, is a Lowndes County man arrested in Montgomery on Wednesday, Sept. 23. Jermaine MacDarius Cole, 46, is a resident of Macon County who was apprehended Sept. 24.
According to Lt. Tony Green, Surles is charged with one count of first-degree theft for the Sept. 13 break-in at Love’s Truck Stop in Hope Hull. Both men face charges of strong-armed robbery of the convenience store on Sept. 20…
