Philadelphia’s first mobile narcotic treatment program is officially on the streets.
On Friday, city leaders unveiled Merakey’s “Mobile Methadone Van” at the Kensington Wellness Support Center. The RV-style unit will help provide treatment to people struggling with opioid abuse.
