After a brief respite, the Southeastern Conference’s frustrations with LSU and state officials were again aired publicly Friday.
The SEC released an evening statement saying it was “deeply disappointed” by Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill filing a motion earlier Friday to dismiss the league’s federal lawsuit against LSU officials in Alabama.
The conference filed its lawsuit on Sept. 8 to assert its right to enforce its own rules and potentially kick LSU out of the league after its football and men’s basketball programs sought to add athletes who previously signed pro contracts…
