ARDOT to remove campaign signs from highway right of ways

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KAIT) – As the midterm elections draw closer, the Arkansas Department of Transportation reminds candidates and their supporters that it is unlawful to place campaign signs on highway right of ways.

According to state law, only official directional, informational and regulatory highway signs are allowed on state-owned highway property. All other signs will be removed by local ARDOT Area Maintenance Offices.
