NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A 23-year-old man is behind bars for his alleged involvement in a Mid-City triple shooting that killed a man and injured two women, officers announced.
The New Orleans Police Department arrested Latrell Alexis on allegations of second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The shooting took place in the early morning hours of Monday, Sept. 21, in the 4000 block of Tulane Avenue, investigators reported.
In this incident, two women were wounded and went to the hospital, and 31-year-old Benjamin Locure died in the hospital from his injuries.
