ROCKTON, Ill (WTVO) — A teen turned himself in Thursday after allegedly forging checks from a business and attempting to deposit the money into his own account, according to the Rockton Police Department.
Police said Bank First in Rockton reported an attempted deceptive practice Wednesday at its location at 300 East Main Street.
Investigators said that in August 2026, 19-year-old Derron Gray went to the Bank First location in Roscoe and attempted to deposit a $23,597.47 check purportedly issued by Badger Property Investments LLC in Janesville…
