WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Hip-hop legend Darryl “DMC” McDaniels will make a special guest appearance at Somewhere Festival in downtown Wichita on Friday night.
McDaniels, a founding member of Run-DMC, told KSN he will join Two Lot during the band’s set, which is expected to begin around 9 p.m.

“I’m here to rock and roll and hip and hop,” McDaniels said. “I’m DMC in the place to be, and I know a lot about places to be, and Wichita is one of the coolest places to be.”
This year’s festival features artists from a variety of genres, including country artists Bailey Zimmerman and Ian Munsick, as well as DJ Diesel, better known as Shaquille O’Neal.
